Kenneth Mitchell Jr., MD

Dr. Kenneth Mitchell is a bariatric surgeon serving the Charleston, Moncks Corner and Mount Pleasant areas. He is known for his expertise and compassionate care in weight loss surgery.

Dr. Mitchell earned his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in North Carolina, where he developed a passion for helping patients overcome obesity and improve their health.

Since joining Roper St. Francis Healthcare, Dr. Mitchell has led bariatric surgery efforts, offering personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. He is known for his compassionate bedside manner and commitment to comprehensive support before, during and after surgery.
