Elizabeth Richardson, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Richardson is an obstetrician-gynecologist with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Charleston OB/GYN. She cares for women through every stage of life with special interests in obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery including vaginal and robotic procedures and the evaluation and treatment of pelvic pain.

Clinical interests and services include:

• Prenatal, delivery and postpartum care
• Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including vaginal and robotic approaches
• Evaluation and treatment of pelvic pain
• Well-woman care, contraception and gynecologic screenings

Her approach is patient-first, evidence-based and practical. She takes time to listen, explain options in clear terms and partner with each person to build a plan that fits their goals and daily life. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and speaks Spanish.

Dr. Richardson earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, where she served as administrative chief resident. She received awards for outstanding work in minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology and resident research.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exercising and completing DIY home projects.
