Julia Raye, PAC

Julia Raye is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Neurology. She cares for patients with a wide range of neurologic conditions, with a focus on stroke, epilepsy, dementia and headache.

Clinical interests and services include:

• General neurology evaluation and management
• Stroke care and follow-up
• Epilepsy and seizure management
• Dementia and cognitive concerns
• Headache and migraine care

Julia believes patient education is at the heart of good neurologic care. She takes time to answer questions and explain diagnoses, test results and treatment options in language that makes sense, so patients leave each visit knowing where they stand and what comes next.

Her approach is rooted in building strong relationships with patients and their families. She works to create a welcoming environment where people feel heard, respected and valued, and she pays attention to emotional well-being alongside the physical. Her goal is for every patient and family to leave with the care, support and resources that fit their individual needs.

Julia earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Charleston Southern University and her Bachelor of Science in biological science from Florida State University. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the South Carolina Neurological Association.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys running, pickleball and walking on the beach. She also loves traveling and trying new restaurants with her husband.
