Nichole Watson, MD

Dr. Nichole Watson is a board-certified family medicine physician at Roper St. Francis Physician Partners. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency at St. Luke's University Health Network.

Dr. Watson’s philosophy of care is centered on adhering to the principle of treating others as she would want her own family treated. In addition, she works closely with her patients to help them prevent illnesses before they start, rather than just treating them when they occur.

As a primary care doctor, Dr. Watson treats a wide range of common conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections and routine check-ups. She also provides management for chronic conditions like asthma and heart disease, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients' diverse health needs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with her patients is what Dr. Watson considers the most rewarding aspect of her job. She treasures each interaction and delights in the role she plays in keeping her patients healthy and happy.

Working within a not-for-profit healthcare system is important to Dr. Watson because it aligns with her belief that the focus of medicine should always be on the health of the patients, rather than profit.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Watson enjoys a rich personal life filled with cooking, gardening, birdwatching, traveling, and photography. She loves sharing these passions with her husband and children, finding great joy in these activities that bring her family closer together.
