About Alaina Payne
Professional Statement
Dr. Alaina Payne is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care team. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program.
The daughter of a Navy corpsman, Dr. Payne knew from a young age she wanted to be a physician. Her father once let her bring his stethoscope and other medical equipment to show-and-tell. She says helping patients “live their best life” brings her great joy.
Dr. Payne is board-certified in family medicine. She is dedicated to providing care with dignity and respect to help patients lead healthy, productive lives.
Outside of work, she enjoys trying new foods with her husband, spending time with her rescue dogs, running and gardening.
