Alessandra Goetz, PAC

Alessandra Goetz is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She cares for adult patients across a broad range of primary care needs, with a background in family medicine and urgent care.

Her clinical interests and services include:

• Preventive care and wellness
• Chronic disease management
• Acute illness and urgent care concerns
• Suturing and initial wound care
• Comprehensive family medicine care

Medicine has been part of Alessandra's life since high school, when she began working in an ophthalmology practice after school – filing records, learning the equipment and working directly with patients. That early start gave her a foundation few bring to PA school, and she arrived as one of the youngest in her class at Stony Brook University. Before that, she conducted undergraduate research on pain and addiction medications at the University of Saint Joseph, presenting her findings at regional conferences.

In practice, Alessandra starts every patient relationship with a simple question: what do you expect from me? She believes clearly understanding each patient's goals is the only way to build a care plan that actually works. For her, the most rewarding moment is when a patient feels genuinely heard.

Alessandra earned her Bachelor of Science in biology, magna cum laude, from the University of Saint Joseph and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University.

Outside of work, Alessandra and her family spend their time at the beach, on the boat and exploring Charleston's parks and gardens. When she travels, she seeks out surfing, rock climbing and anything that gets her outdoors.
