Allison Swanson, PAC

Allison Swanson, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics.

She specializes in general adult musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, with a focus on:

• Joint replacement medicine
• Sports medicine
• Trauma care

Allison earned her Bachelor of Science from Illinois College and completed her physician assistant studies at the Medical University of South Carolina.

She has been drawn to medicine since she was five years old. Her early experiences in hospital waiting rooms, while her grandfather battled cancer, inspired her admiration for healthcare professionals who provided comfort and care. She knew then that she wanted to help others in the same way.

Allison’s care philosophy is deeply aligned with the mission of Roper St. Francis Healthcare: healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence. She is committed to treating every patient with dignity and respect, ensuring they receive the highest quality care to help them get back to living their best lives.

In addition to her clinical work, Allison is the CEO and president of Partners 4 Global Health Inc., a nonprofit organization that collaborates to improve health and wellness in underserved communities around the world.

In her free time, Allison enjoys participating in global missions and supporting local initiatives through Roper St. Francis Healthcare. She is proud to work in a nonprofit healthcare system where she can focus on what matters most: providing the best possible care for all patients, regardless of their financial status.
