About Andrew Davidson
Professional Statement
Dr. Davidson is a board-certified specialist in allergy, asthma, and immunology for both pediatric and adult patients. He completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. He then undertook his internship and residency at the University of Florida, followed by a fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Brown University.
Dr. Davidson has received numerous accolades, including the Mom’s Choice Award from Lowcountry Magazine, Reader’s Choice from Summerville Journal Scene, Charleston’s Choice from Post & Courier, and Best of the Best from Charleston Living Magazine. He has also been recognized with “Best of” awards from Mount Pleasant Magazine and Best of Berkeley by Berkeley Independent. In addition, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
Trained in all aspects of allergy, asthma, and immunology, Dr. Davidson has been consistently recognized by his peers, earning inclusion in Best Doctors in America.
Dr. Davidson is married to Kathryn, a Respiratory Therapist at MUSC Children’s Hospital, and they have one son, Eric. In his free time, Dr. Davidson enjoys playing guitar and can often be found performing on various stages around Charleston, usually at charitable events.
