Anthony Cloyd, MD

Dr. Anthony Cloyd is a board-certified family medicine physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. He helps patients of all ages build healthy, sustainable habits. His special interests include preventive care, lifestyle medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Cloyd performs a range of in-office procedures including:

• Joint injections
• Skin biopsies
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Toenail removal

He earned his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.

As a former multi-sport athlete and collegiate football player, Dr. Cloyd understands the importance of staying active through every stage of life. His care philosophy centers on partnership – meeting patients where they are, listening to their goals and helping them feel supported and empowered in their health journey.

Dr. Cloyd is passionate about mentoring future healthcare professionals and enjoys being involved in community activities that promote health and well-being. Outside the office, he stays active, plays music and cheers for his favorite team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
