Autumn Shobe, DO

Dr. Autumn Shobe is a part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Breast Surgery team. She grew up in Northwest Iowa and completed her undergraduate degree at Morningside University before obtaining her medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She then moved to Michigan and became the chief surgical resident of her general surgery residency program through Michigan State University at Beaumont Health, Farmington Hills.

During her general surgery residency, she learned of her passion for oncology and pursued a surgical breast oncology fellowship that she completed at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She is board certified in general surgery.

Dr. Shobe and her husband had visited the Charleston area and always dreamed of returning to call the Lowcountry home one day. She is honored to now serve the patients of the Lowcountry. Dr. Shobe believes in shared decision-making and providing every patient with the knowledge to understand his or her breast health concerns.

Kindness and empathy are the foundation with which she walks with her patients on their healthcare journey. She maintains a multidisciplinary approach and works with a dedicated oncology team to provide patient-centered and comprehensive breast care.

In her free time, Dr. Shobe enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling and outdoor activities.
