Avery Steeland, PAC

Avery Steeland is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics. She works with the orthopedic team to evaluate and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility and return to the activities that matter most in their daily lives.

Clinical services include:

• Shoulder injuries and conditions
• Knee injuries and conditions 
• Arthritis and overuse injuries
• Fracture and musculoskeletal injury care
• Sports-related injuries 
• Preoperative and postoperative orthopedic care

Avery earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina.

She approaches patient care by listening first and partnering with each person to develop a treatment plan that fits their lifestyle and goals. Avery believes patients should feel informed, supported and empowered throughout their care. She enjoys combining problem-solving with hands-on care and finds it especially rewarding to see patients regain strength, reduce pain and return to the activities they love.

Outside of work, Avery enjoys practicing yoga, baking and experimenting with sourdough recipes.
