Catherine Watson, MD

Dr. Catherine Watson is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist at Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Gynecology Oncology. Dr. Watson earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Dr. Watson specializes in:

• Complex pelvic surgery
• Managing gynecologic precancers and cancers, including cervical and ovarian cancer

Dr. Watson was honored with a Felix Rutledge Fellowship at MD Anderson, and then she completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Duke University Medical Center. Outside of her practice, Dr. Watson treasures time with her family and enjoys outdoor adventures and reading. Before starting her medical education, Dr. Watson earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Yale University, where she developed a love for literature. She also stays active with running and loves playing the piano.
