About Danielle Metzler
Professional Statement
Dr. Danielle Metzler is a board-certified primary care physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency in the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Metzler’s care philosophy centers on disease prevention through what she calls “clean living.” She educates patients about the everyday choices, habits and values that contribute to a full, healthy life. To feel your best, she says, it is important to focus on all forms of health, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. She values her relationships with patients and is committed to earning their trust and supporting them through every season of life.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Metzler enjoys spending time with her children, running, practicing yoga, cycling and reading the latest book club pick.

Dr. Metzler is an excellent doctor - she seemed more rushed today than for a usual appointment but they had worked me in due to an allergic reaction, so that may be understandable.

Dr. Metzler is, I'm sure, just as busy as all Physicians. Somehow, she never seems rushed with me. I think that is because she's taken the time to actually get to know me, which is half the battle when, as a Physician, you are truly wanting to provide a path to making your patients whole. She's fabulous. She cares.

Dr Metzler is probably the best physician I have ever had. She is so receptive to my questions, concerns, and my inputs. I have never felt like I am not being listened to and dismissed, she is truly an incredible doctor.
