Danielle Metzler, MD

Dr. Danielle Metzler is a board-certified primary care physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency in the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Metzler’s care philosophy centers on disease prevention through what she calls “clean living.” She educates patients about the everyday choices, habits and values that contribute to a full, healthy life. To feel your best, she says, it is important to focus on all forms of health, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. She values her relationships with patients and is committed to earning their trust and supporting them through every season of life.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Metzler enjoys spending time with her children, running, practicing yoga, cycling and reading the latest book club pick.
