About David Brazzel
Professional Statement
Dr. David Brazzel is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care team. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine and completed his residency at Valley Medical Center Fresno and University Medical Center.
He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Brazzel studied biochemistry in college and participated in several medical mission trips to Mexico, where he assisted doctors in caring for patients. That experience—combined with encouragement from his family and a strong desire to serve—led him to pursue a career in medicine. He continues to volunteer at medical mission clinics in Guatemala and Mexico.
In his free time, Dr. Brazzel enjoys hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, boating and water skiing. He also travels frequently, both in the United States and abroad.

At 68, having seen many doctors, I think Dr. Brazzel is not one of the best, but is THE BEST I have ever seen. He listens to me as a patient, always answers my questions and concerns and never makes me feel rushed. He is the Platinum standard (not just gold) of Medical Professionals. He is an excellent addition to Roper Hospital.

Dr. Brazzel always takes his time explaining my needs and going over my overall well-being. He is very informative, kind, attentive and nice! He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to my friends and family.

He listened to me, went over my medications, talked about appointments I'd had with urologist and digestive doctor. He explained why he was changing some medications and asked if I had any questions. He and his staff truly make this feel like a family practice!
