About Durga Adhikari

Dr. Durga Adhikari, originally from Nepal, earned his medical degree from Manipal College of Medical Sciences. He moved to the United States for advanced training, completing an internal medicine residency at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and a rheumatology fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
After completing his fellowship in 2016, Dr. Adhikari served as an assistant professor of medicine at UNC Chapel Hill until 2019, when he moved to Charleston to join Low Country Rheumatology.
He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology Guidance Subcommittee. Dr. Adhikari is committed to providing high-quality care to his patients.
He lives with his wife and daughter and enjoys running, biking and hiking in his free time.
