Elizabeth Maxwell, PAC

Elizabeth Maxwell is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Neurosurgery and Spine. She cares for people with spine and neurological conditions, from back and neck pain to complex injuries. Elizabeth evaluates symptoms, orders and interprets imaging, and guides next steps, including conservative therapies and, when appropriate, surgical care.

Her approach centers on shared decision making. Elizabeth takes time to explain each diagnosis and the full range of treatment options that fit a person’s goals, lifestyle and medical needs. She believes clear education and open conversation help patients feel informed, confident and supported at every stage of care.

Elizabeth earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science from the University of Oklahoma.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Charleston’s food and history with her husband, taking their goldendoodle, Betsy, to the beach, cooking and baking at home and cheering for Oklahoma sports.
