Emily Mika Nemeth, MD

Dr. Emily Mika Nemeth is a board-certified family medicine physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care.

She earned her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands and completed her family medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois.

Dr. Nemeth takes a meticulous and proactive approach to patient care. She believes in thoroughly reviewing each patient’s medical history to develop a care plan that emphasizes prevention and effective treatment. She is committed to exploring all possibilities to diagnose symptoms and encourages patients to take full advantage of preventive care.

She was drawn to medicine by a desire to make a significant impact on others’ lives and to gain skills to help family and friends with their health challenges. Dr. Nemeth finds fulfillment in being the person her loved ones turn to for medical advice and support.

What she enjoys most about her work is forming lasting relationships with patients and their families, often treating multiple generations. These deep bonds enrich her practice and provide her with great satisfaction.

Outside of work, Dr. Nemeth is active in her family’s activities. She enjoys attending her daughter’s sporting events and planning local outings with her son. At home, she likes cooking, gardening and organizing. On weekends, she spends time with family boating, visiting the beach and occasionally traveling to see extended relatives. She values these moments to relax and reconnect.
