Erica Anderson, DO

Dr. Erica Anderson is a board-certified rheumatologist with Roper St. Francis Rheumatology, a department of Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital.

She specializes in:

• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, gout and other forms of inflammatory arthritis
• Joint aspirations and injections to help manage pain and improve mobility for her patients

Dr. Anderson completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of Health Sciences/Kansas City University. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, followed by a fellowship in rheumatology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Anderson has been in private practice since completing her fellowship training in 2008.

With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Anderson believes communication is key to safe and effective healthcare. She works closely with patients and their families to ensure they are actively involved in treatment decisions. She takes pride in developing long-term relationships and improving her patients’ quality of life with the latest therapies available for rheumatologic conditions.
