Dr. Gabriel Chedister is a board-certified surgeon and a member of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Colorectal Surgery team.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, completed a general surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Chedister’s interest in cancer care is deeply personal, shaped by his own family’s experience with cancer treatment and survivorship. He understands the weight of a diagnosis and the hope that comes with recovery. He is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and values working closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans.
Outside of work, Dr. Chedister enjoys spending time outdoors. He likes boating, fishing, camping and hiking with his dog, Moose.
