She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, where she received the Professionalism Award for outstanding performance as a medical resident.
Dr. Pinto completed her general cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University/Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city with her husband and two sons, traveling, exploring new restaurants and cuisines and reading.
