Georgia Roane, MD

Dr. Georgia Roane is a board-certified rheumatologist with Roper St. Francis Rheumatology, a department of Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Alabama. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Roane provides compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Dr. Roane specializes in diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases such as:

• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Psoriatic arthritis
• Lupus
• Vasculitis and related conditions 

She also provides care for osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, tailoring treatment plans to help her patients manage symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Dr. Roane is passionate about helping her patients feel better and regain good health. She finds great fulfillment in working closely with individuals to provide relief from chronic conditions and guide them toward better well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Roane enjoys spending time outdoors, walking on the beach, hiking and playing tennis. She also loves traveling, reading and sharing meaningful moments with her family and friends.
