Jaime Quinn, FNP

Jaime Quinn is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She cares for patients of all ages, with clinical interests in family medicine, women's health and weight management.

Clinical interests and services include:

• Preventive care and wellness visits
• Management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes
• Women's health, including well-woman exams and screenings
• Weight management support
• Care coordination with specialists

Jaime spent years as a hospital nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner. Before becoming a primary care provider, she led the nursing team on her shifts in the intensive care unit at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital, caring for patients through the most serious moments of their illnesses. That experience shapes how she practices primary care today. She has seen where untreated conditions lead, and it makes her attentive to the everyday care that keeps people well.

Her decision to pursue medicine was shaped by her earlier work as a care coordinator and medical assistant, where she worked alongside a nurse practitioner who consistently advocated for her patients. Watching the way she built trust and stood up for each person's individual needs, showed Jaime the meaningful impact a provider can have on someone's life, and it set the direction for her own career.

Jaime treats each patient as an individual and works to make sure they feel heard, respected and supported. She believes good healthcare goes beyond addressing symptoms and requires understanding a patient's concerns, values and circumstances. Her goal is to build enough trust that patients feel comfortable being active participants in their own care.

What she enjoys most is the relationship she builds with her patients. She listens to what patients are worried about and helps them feel understood, and she has found that even small things, whether advocating for a patient or helping someone better understand their own health, can have a lasting effect.

Jaime earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors at the beach or on a hiking trail, cooking and trying new recipes, and finding new restaurants.
