About Jeffrey Dietrich

Professional Statement

Dr. Dietrich is a board-certified specialist in allergy, asthma, and immunology for both pediatric and adult patients. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his medical degree from St. Louis University. His medical journey continued with an internship and residency in Pediatrics at Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, OH, followed by a fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Dietrich is extensively trained in all aspects of allergy, asthma, and immunology.

Charleston captured the hearts of Dr. Dietrich and his wife, Amy, during his 10-year service in the U.S. Air Force at Charleston Air Force Base. After completing his tenure in the Air Force and his fellowship training, they eagerly returned to the Charleston area with their growing family.

Dr. Dietrich has been honored with several local awards for Best Allergist, including Mom’s Choice by Lowcountry Parent Magazine, Charleston’s Choice by Post & Courier, Best of the Best by Charleston Living Magazine, and Best of Mount Pleasant Magazine.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Dietrich cherishes time with Amy and their three children, relishing the abundant outdoor family activities the Lowcountry offers. He frequently participates in coaching his children's sports teams, enjoys fishing, jogging, playing basketball, hosting barbecues with friends, and passionately supports his alma mater, Stanford, especially during football season.
