About Jeffrey Paulsen
Professional Statement
Dr. Jeffrey Paulsen earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2000. He worked several years in the financial industry before pursuing medicine. Dr. Paulsen graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine in 2008 and completed his postgraduate training at the University of California, Davis, where he received multiple awards for patient care and education and served as chief resident. He finished his cardiology fellowship in 2015.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular medicine and holds additional certifications from the National Board of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Society for Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
Dr. Paulsen practices all aspects of invasive cardiology, with a focus on promoting wellness through a holistic approach to cardiovascular care. He is enthusiastic about being part of a world-class cardiology practice and looks forward to engaging with the community.
Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, water sports and spending time with his wife and two children.
