Jessica Schnorr, MD

Jessica Schnorr, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Charleston OB/GYN. She cares for women through every stage of life, from pregnancy and delivery to well-woman care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Clinical interests and services include:

• Obstetrics and pregnancy care
• Well-woman exams and preventive care
• Contraception counseling and management
• Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures
• Menopause care

A Charleston native, Dr. Schnorr first discovered her passion for women's health as a student at Ashley Hall, a local all-girls school, where she developed a deep appreciation for the strengths and experiences of women. That early interest grew into a career, and she is glad to return home to care for her community.

Dr. Schnorr believes no two patients are the same. She listens closely and brings each patient's values and goals into shared decisions about their care. She believes that medicine is service to community and strives to care for neighbors like family through their most vulnerable moments. Dr. Schnorr is committed to providing respectful, high-quality care to every woman, regardless of her background or circumstances. She is especially devoted to caring for women through every phase of life, from optimizing health during pregnancy to supporting a comfortable transition through menopause.

For Dr. Schnorr, it is a privilege to be present for life's important moments and a trusted resource at every stage in between. She values long-term patient relationships and the collaborative nature of women's health, working alongside nurses, specialists and other care team members toward the best possible outcome for each patient.

Dr. Schnorr earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, where she trained at Parkland Memorial Hospital, one of the nation's busiest teaching hospitals, and Clements University Hospital. She earned her bachelor's degree in language and international health from Clemson University, graduating with honors. She is conversational in Spanish.

Outside of work, Dr. Schnorr loves being outdoors in the Lowcountry. She and her family live on James Island and can often be found at the beach. She also enjoys live music, cooking, Charleston's dining scene, playing cards and spending time with her golden retriever.
