About John Graham Jr.
Professional Statement
Dr. John Graham specializes in the evaluation and treatment of sports injuries, as well as knee and shoulder surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Graham earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology with honors from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. He completed his medical degree and orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the nationally recognized Hughston Orthopedic Clinic in Columbus, Georgia.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of both the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. His practice includes the care of athletes of all ages and skill levels. Dr. Graham remains active in sports medicine through high school team coverage and community sports clinics.
He served as the team physician for the College of Charleston for 30 years and was recently inducted into the college’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Dr. Graham views patient care as a privilege and is committed to treating the whole person. He also promotes and maintains a healthy lifestyle himself.
