About John Stewart
Professional Statement
Dr. John Stewart is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care team. He is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Stewart earned his medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Inspired by his grandparents, his grandmother, a former nurse, and his grandfather, a well-respected and kind physician, Dr. Stewart developed a passion for caring for older adults while living with them during medical school. He gained a deep understanding of the complexities involved in their care.
Dr. Stewart follows a patient-centered philosophy, emphasizing thorough discussions with patients and their families about all treatment options, always prioritizing the patient’s best interests.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, as well as fishing and playing golf.
