Josie Jennings, PAC

Josephine "Josie" Jennings is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Neurology. She holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Josie brings experience in neuroendovascular surgery neurosurgery and trauma to her current role in outpatient neurology.

Josie specializes in:

• Treatment and management of stroke particularly secondary stroke prevention 
• Follow-up care related to transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) headaches and neuropathy

Josie’s care philosophy focuses on individualized treatment. She believes that no two patients are the same and tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs ensures the best outcomes.

What Josie enjoys most about her work is the ever-changing nature of healthcare which keeps her engaged and excited to learn more each day. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve better health while building strong individualized relationships with them.

Outside of work Josie enjoys exploring all that Charleston has to offer from its historic downtown to its beautiful beaches. She also participates in local recreational sports leagues and values staying active in the community.
