Dr. Joyce Noriega is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed her residency at West Virginia University.
Dr. Noriega is a facilitator of CenteringPregnancy®, a nationally recognized model of group prenatal care that has been shown to improve a wide range of birth outcomes.
She was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Maryland at age 16. She has lived in South Carolina since 2005. Dr. Noriega is married and has three sons who keep her busy. She enjoys reading, walking and meditation.

Doctor Noriega is the most down to earth doctor I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She ensures that I understand everything she talks about and always includes my opinion in discussions about my health which I think is amazing. I always recommend to my friends, family, and colleagues that roper saint Francis is the best hospital in the area because everyone who works there very clearly loves their jobs and will do everything they can to assist you with whatever you're there for.
