Professional Statement
Dr. Keswick Lo is a family medicine physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. He cares for patients of all ages, with clinical interests in preventive medicine, high blood pressure and weight management.
Clinical interests and services include:
- Preventive care and annual wellness visits
- Management of high blood pressure and other chronic conditions
- Weight management and healthy lifestyle planning
- Acute illness care and same-day concerns
- Health screenings and vaccinations
Dr. Lo starts by listening. He wants to hear the whole story before he settles on a diagnosis, and he takes the time to explain what he's thinking in plain language, so patients leave informed rather than intimidated.
That approach traces back to why he chose medicine in the first place. His parents immigrated to this country and worked to build opportunities they never had themselves, encouraging him toward a career that would make a real difference. He found it in the exam room. The problem-solving and the constant learning drew him in, but the relationships are what kept him – walking someone through a difficult diagnosis, celebrating an improvement that took months to earn, seeing a patient come to trust the process.
Dr. Lo completed his family medicine residency at Tidelands Health and a preliminary general surgery year with the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and his Bachelor of Science in biology, graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina.
Outside of work, Dr. Lo enjoys being on the water, playing tennis and golf and settling in with a good video game.
