Dr. Lacie Wallace is a board-certified family medicine physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She earned her medical degree from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Wallace specializes in the management of chronic illnesses, preventive care and a wide range of outpatient procedures.
Her areas of expertise include:

- Orthopedic joint aspirations and injections
- Dermatologic treatments such as biopsies and cryotherapy
She is also passionate about lifestyle medicine. Additionally, Dr. Wallace has a special interest in geriatrics, focusing on the unique health needs of patients over the age of 65.
Her care philosophy is simple: “excellent care, every time.” Dr. Wallace pairs her attention to detail with empathy, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care. She finds the greatest joy in forming meaningful human connections with her patients, believing that true healing goes beyond tests and prescriptions.
Dr. Wallace discovered her passion for family medicine during an undergraduate internship with a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in Western North Carolina. There, she witnessed the immense impact family physicians can have on individuals, families and entire communities. She contributed to a quality improvement project, helped increase access to preventive care, and performed her first dermatological procedure, experiences that solidified her commitment to the field.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending time at Folly Beach, bike rides downtown, sailing and traveling to new countries.

Dr. Lacie Wallace is a phenomenal physician. I have been looking for almost 5 years for a good general practitioner and finally found her. She is smart as an excellent bedside manner is caring and very thorough. I also want to say that I really appreciate how good roper is about having access to and looking at my other medical records. At MUSC that is not the case every appointment I've had at MUSC with a specialist. They haven't been able to access my records or haven't looked at them before my appointment. This is a big deal and because I've seen how well Roper does this for internal medicine I might end up moving some of my specialty care over to Roper from MUSC. Just thought you'd like to know that kind of thing really does matter and it's worth the effort you put in for the patients.
