Lauren Victor, FNP

Lauren Dowd Victor, MSN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners OB/GYN. Lauren has practiced women’s health since 2009. She cares for patients across the lifespan with clinical interests that include preconception counseling, prenatal and postpartum care, contraception, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain and pelvic floor symptoms, sexual health, menopause care and high-risk screening.

Services and in-office procedures include:

• Preconception counseling
• Prenatal and postpartum care
• Contraception, including IUD and Nexplanon placement
• Endometrial and vulvar biopsies
• Evaluation and management of abnormal bleeding
• Care for pelvic pain and pelvic floor symptoms
• Sexual health support
• Menopause care
• High-risk breast and gynecologic screening
• Hereditary cancer risk counseling, including BRCA and Lynch syndromes

Lauren’s approach is compassionate, evidence based and practical. She explains diagnoses and options in plain language, invites questions and partners with each person to build a plan that fits their goals and daily life. Her aim is for patients to feel informed, respected and supported at every visit.

Before joining Roper St. Francis Physician Partners, Lauren practiced in leading academic and group settings, taught prenatal, breastfeeding and fertility awareness classes and was recognized by patients and peers for compassionate care.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in nursing from Loyola University Chicago. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Outside of work, Lauren volunteers in the community, enjoys yoga and loves exploring Charleston with her family and their dog.
