She earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a general surgery residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. During her residency, she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of complex surgical cases. She then completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she cared for some of the hospital’s most critically ill patients.
Dr. Clevenger is certified to perform robotic surgery using the da Vinci Xi system, which offers benefits such as smaller incisions and shorter recovery times.
