Dr. Lori Robbins, originally from California, graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in psychobiology and a minor in Italian. She obtained her MD degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, achieving board certification in Internal Medicine.
Remaining at Cedars Sinai, ranked as the #2 hospital in the country for gastroenterology (US News and World Report, 2019), Dr. Robbins pursued fellowship training in gastroenterology. During this time, she trained under esteemed experts in inflammatory bowel diseases and irritable bowel syndrome.
Dr. Robbins is a prolific author with numerous publications in top medical journals and has presented her research at national meetings, garnering multiple awards. She authored the gastroenterology chapter of the Handbook of Wellness Medicine.
She and her husband Ryan are excited to raise their family in Charleston. They share interests in traveling, hiking, wine tasting, baseball, and spending leisure time at the beach with their three children and two dogs.
