Maggie Bailey, PAC

Maggie Bailey is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics. She cares for adults with orthopedic conditions, with clinical interests in hip and knee joints, osteoarthritis and joint injections.

• Hip and knee conditions
• Osteoarthritis evaluation and management
• Joint injections and aspirations
• Fracture and joint injury care
• Preoperative and postoperative support

Maggie comes to orthopedics from the emergency department. She spent two years as an emergency medicine provider, most recently caring for patients across the Roper St. Francis Healthcare emergency departments, where musculoskeletal injuries were a daily part of her work. She evaluated fractures, dislocations, sprains and joint injuries, handled reductions and immobilization, and planned the follow-up care that came next.

Her approach is patient-centered and collaborative, with a focus on careful evaluation and clear diagnostic reasoning.

Maggie earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Charleston Southern University, graduating magna cum laude, and her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Alabama. She completed an orthopedic surgery rotation at Roper Hospital during her training.

Outside of work, Maggie enjoys watching Charleston sunsets, eating at local restaurants and staying active.
