Matthew Fabyanic, PAC

Matthew Fabyanic, PA-C is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Matt has extensive experience in sports medicine, total joint arthroplasty and trauma care. Before joining Roper St. Francis Healthcare, he worked in an orthopedic practice in Pittsburgh where he managed a wide range of orthopedic conditions in both clinical and surgical settings. In addition to his clinical work, Matt has served as adjunct faculty and clinical preceptor at Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh.

Since joining Roper St. Francis Orthopaedics in 2014, Matt has continued his passion for teaching, working as a clinical faculty member at both MUSC and Charleston Southern University. He provides care for patients with sports-related injuries, trauma, arthritis and general orthopedic conditions as well as serving as a first assistant in surgeries.

Outside of his practice, Matt enjoys boating with his family, watching his three sons play tennis and supporting his wife’s dance studio the Dance Conservatory of Charleston.
