Melody Saulnier, ANP

Melody Saulnier is a board-certified adult-geriatric nurse practitioner with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She brings more than 27 years of experience as a nurse practitioner and is passionate about education and a preventative, holistic approach to care.

Saulnier earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1991. She worked as a registered nurse in cardiac intensive care for six years before earning a Master of Science in nursing from Boston College in 1997. She practiced adult internal medicine and primary care in the Boston area for 23 years before joining Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

Her care philosophy centers on treating patients the way she would want to be treated. She believes high-quality care starts with recognizing each patient’s individuality. By understanding a patient’s story — including their goals, challenges, obstacles and life experiences — she helps guide meaningful, lasting health changes. Saulnier values the collaborative nature of the patient-provider relationship and finds the most joy in positively impacting lives and building strong connections.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, skiing and oil painting.
