Natalie Garver, MD

Dr. Natalie Garver is a board-certified general surgeon and breast surgical oncologist with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Breast Surgery. She provides care for people with benign breast conditions, those at increased risk and those diagnosed with breast cancer.

Her surgical expertise includes lumpectomy and partial mastectomy, mastectomy (including nipple-sparing when appropriate), sentinel lymph node biopsy, axillary dissection and oncoplastic techniques. She partners with a multidisciplinary breast care team to create coordinated, individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Garver’s approach centers on empowerment and education. She takes time to explain each diagnosis and option so patients can participate confidently in decisions about their care. Recognizing that breast concerns are stressful at every stage – high-risk evaluation, benign disease or cancer – she strives to help each person regain a sense of control and feel supported by a team throughout treatment and survivorship.

Dr. Garver completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at ChristianaCare Health System and a general surgery residency at Bon Secours Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and a master’s degree in physiology from Georgetown University.

Inspired early by her father’s example as a physician, she is grateful to serve patients and families every day. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with her husband and their three cats.
