Patricia Smith, MD

Dr. Patricia Smith is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care team. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed dual residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina.

As a dual-trained internist and pediatrician, Dr. Smith cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. She encourages her patients to take an active role in their health and frequently recommends evidence-based lifestyle medicine therapies to help prevent, treat and manage chronic conditions.

In her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys exploring local farmers markets to find fresh ingredients and new inspiration for her recipes. She and her husband also enjoy adventure sports such as rock climbing and kiteboarding, and they spend time outdoors with their Australian cattle dog, Gerald.
