Patrick Murray, MD

Dr. Patrick Murray is board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics.

He specializes in:

• Hip and robotic assisted knee replacements
• Minimally invasive anterior hip replacements
• Revision total joint surgery
• Hip and knee fracture care

Dr. Murray graduated from the University of Wisconsin. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. He completed a fellowship in total joint replacement surgery at Stanford University.

Dr. Murray is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has published multiple articles in the Journal of Arthroplasty and is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

He lives in downtown Charleston with his wife, Whitney, and their three daughters. They enjoy going to the beach, golfing, playing music and spending time on the water.
