About Philip Albaneze

Professional Statement

Dr. Philip Albaneze is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Breast Surgery team. He earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center.

Dr. Albaneze served 24 years in the U.S. Army as a surgeon, completing five overseas tours of duty. After retiring from the military, he completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Inspired by his mother, a nurse who provided compassionate care, and his father, an engineer who encouraged scientific curiosity and problem-solving, Dr. Albaneze brings both empathy and analytical skill to his practice. He values the strong bond he forms with breast cancer survivors and is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his patients.

In his free time, he enjoys the challenge of maintaining saltwater aquariums filled with vibrant coral and fish. He spends most of his time outside of work with his wife, Jenny, and their three children.
