Ressie Louis, FNP

Ressie Louis, FNP, is a licensed family nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She earned her degree from the University of Cincinnati and has more than five years of experience in women’s health, primarily in ambulatory care. She also has three years of experience in labor and delivery and more than 10 years of experience in emergency room care. She holds a certification in emergency nursing.

Louis’s care philosophy emphasizes active listening and treating each patient as an individual who plays a shared role in the care process.

Outside of work, she participates in open water swims, including the Lowcountry Splash, and takes part in distance cycling events for charity, such as Bike MS Pedal to the Point for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She enjoys listening to audiobooks and a variety of music, including artists like Lake Street Dive and Gregory Alan Isakov.
