Dr. Sara Wilson is a board certified general surgeon. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University, and completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Wilson completed her general surgery residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. She was born at the old downtown St. Francis hospital and raised in Charleston, and is thrilled to have returned home to care for patients in the Lowcountry. As the daughter, granddaughter and niece of Roper St. Francis Healthcare surgeons, she is excited to continue their tradition of compassionate, high-quality surgical care.
When she is not at the hospital, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time outside and on the water with her husband, son, and extended family.
