Sarah DeLoach, PAC

Sarah DeLoach is a nationally certified physician assistant with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She cares for adults, with clinical interests in family medicine, women's health, orthopedic conditions, and suturing and wound care.

Clinical interests and services include:

• Preventive care and wellness visits
• Family medicine care for adults
• Women's health
• Management of orthopedic conditions
• Suturing and wound care
• Care for sudden illnesses and same-day concerns

Sarah came to primary care from the emergency department at Roper Hospital, where she spent two years treating everything from minor injuries to true emergencies. She saw firsthand what happens when people don't have a regular provider to turn to. Her goal now is to know her patients well enough to catch problems long before they become emergencies.

She is also caring for patients in the community that shaped her. Sarah was born at Roper Hospital and raised in Mount Pleasant, and practicing here is a return rather than an arrival. She considers it a privilege to care for the community that helped raise her.

Sarah earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health.

Outside of work, Sarah values time with family and friends and spends much of her free time outdoors, especially on the water in Charleston Harbor. She learned to sail there at 7 years old and has been sailing ever since. She also enjoys traveling and cooking.
