Dr. Sauer earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. He advanced his expertise during a yearlong fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in Houston at the Baylor College of Medicine, the Foundation for Orthopedic, Athletic, and Reconstructive Research associated with UT-Houston, and the Texas Orthopaedic Hospital.
His surgical expertise covers a broad range of procedures such as:
