About Shannon Long
Professional Statement
Dr. Shannon Long is a board-certified family medicine physician with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program.
A former Division I college soccer player, Dr. Long was inspired to pursue medicine after experiencing injuries and seeing doctors’ compassion and expertise firsthand. She practices individualized, patient-centered care, focusing on treating the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
In her free time, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, going to the beach, running, practicing yoga and exploring Charleston’s parks and restaurants.
