Thaddeus Bell, MD

Dr. Thaddeus John Bell, a family physician in Charleston, South Carolina, is the founder of the nonprofit Closing the Gap in Health Care, which he considers his most important career accomplishment aside from caring for patients. The organization works to reduce health disparities and improve health literacy among African Americans and other underserved populations.
