I am disappointed the doctor did not respond to my question I asked through the portal. However during the appointment I thought he was thorough and knowledgeable. He did not mention a follow up appointment or a time for me to get retested given his recommendation to increase my cholesterol medicine. Not sure that is my responsibility or his.

Very strong on not smoking, using drugs or alcohol. When I returned for the next visit he was proud of the fact that I have quit smoking even on my own, I was discharged on the next visit and surprisingly the meds that he has me on he said my provider could re-up. Maybe that's just protocol seeing as I was DiscBarged.

Dr. Yarborough even told me he did research on my heart condition (artificial aortic valve 25 years old) on his own to try to determine as much information as he could about the prognosis of the aging valve. What would be the best blood thinner, etc. I was impressed with his level of concern and dedication to do his best for me.
